I saw this at Belapur CIDCO HAAT, a festival like Kala Ghoda, where I saw these..

Is this still exhibition/festival still going on??? beautiful. Earlier I had been for their textile exhibition.

Well Kala Ghoda is definitely out of the world. But this one also is quite good. The lady as kajal said has quite a pose :P

I liked all three..But then Ma was of the opinion that even I fell into the classical male gaze symptom, of not realizing what these ladies posed this way, made my male sculptures, adorning our home(had we bought it) would mean :(

But I dont think that way, and dont personify it, rather just look at it like a work of art.. Kalpana, I went there when it first was declared as the launch oday of the fest. But I do see stalls when I travel to Belapur as it is just outside the station..

Ghastly. They're what one would expect to find in the room where Hindi film villian Ajit would be pictured crashing about with the woman he's about to ravage. A pity, since the workmanship is excellent. It takes carpenter with great skills, quite possibly handed down many generations, to enable one to manipulate wood thus.

And this haat is mostly omnipresent there!!! I like these pieces :)
